Ramón Peña poaches freshly harvested octopus in seawater. Their skilled local workers pack each tin by hand one piece at a time. The result is a seafood prepared to perfection, with a fresh flavor and firm bite.

Galicia is surrounded by cool, clean Atlantic waters that support a vibrant fishing tradition. In Spain canned seafood is acknowledged as a gourmet product, and small producers like Ramón Peña are meticulous about providing premium quality seafood to its customers.

They provide the selection of the best Atlantic octopus. Cleaned and cooked, cut into slices, the octopus is hand-packed with fried onions (100% natural) and Galician style sauce with olive oil.

Ramón Peña undertakes all elaboration process ensuring the highest quality according to ISO 9002 and the highest food safety standards. Nowadays, their canned seafood have positioned themselves as one of the most beloved gourmet products in Spain and abroad.

The manufacturing process: the best product is selected in the port (between 1.5 and 2kg). In the factory the octopus is frozen 3 days so that once thawed the texture is correct. After cleaning and cooking for 45 min they are cut into slices. Finally it is packaged in an artisanal way and in Galician style sauce with olive oil.

The main ingredients are: octopus, onion, olive oil, salt and paprika.
